It’s been a while since I’ve made this soap. One of my favorite soaps, but it is also the most expensive to make. I start with coconut oil, food grade lye dissolved in local High Bridge Spring Water (from an underground limestone spring) and then I add LOTS of pink Himalayan salt–about 1 1/2 ounces per bar. Additionally I add in a very generous amount of essential oils–peppermint, lemongrass, sweet orange, and tangerine. I top it off with activated charcoal swirls. What I love about this premiumsoap is that it has great, foamy suds and is also a mild exfoliate. I use it as a hand, body, and even facial soap. To use on my face, I just suds it up in my hands, then wash with it. Lovely! It has a fresh and invigorating scent, making it a fantastic soap.
This soap is tricky to make and needs to cure for longer than the average soap, so I only make it occasionally.
Ingredients: Coconut oil, Himalayan Pink salt, Kentucky High Bridge water, food grade lye, peppermint, lemongrass, sweet orange, and tangerine essential oil. Activated charcoal for color.
